Mentoring the Next Generation of Creative Talent
At Get It Junto (GIJ), we believe that talent grows through opportunity, guidance and meaningful connections. Our six-month mentoring programme is designed to support emerging creatives by pairing them with established professionals working in the industries they aspire to join. Whether it's an aspiring actor being mentored by a professional performer, a filmmaker learning from an experienced producer, or a content creator connecting with an industry expert, we create relationships that inspire growth and open doors.
Throughout the programme, we work closely with each mentee to help them become resourceful, develop confidence in their craft and build practical skills that support their long-term creative ambitions. From refining ideas and strengthening portfolios to navigating industry challenges and expanding professional networks, our mentors provide the guidance and encouragement needed to help young creatives align their projects with their career goals and take meaningful steps towards the future they envision.
One of the programme's success stories is Newton, the creator of Hidden in the Credits. Through GIJ's mentorship, we supported Newton in developing the concept, strengthening the production and building the foundations needed to bring his vision to life. What began as an ambitious idea has now grown into a successful industry event, with Newton recently delivering its second edition.
Hidden in the Credits brings together professionals from across the television and film industries, including representatives from major organisations such as Warner Bros. Discovery and the BFI, alongside recruiters and creative leaders. The event gives emerging talent direct access to networking opportunities, career advice and invaluable industry insights, helping bridge the gap between aspiring creatives and the people shaping the future of the sector.
At GIJ, our role goes beyond mentoring. We become part of the building blocks behind each project, helping our creatives develop ideas, overcome challenges and turn ambition into action.
